The 16-spot breakdown

One campaign sells exactly 16 advertiser placements — 6 small, 8 standard and 2 large — spread across the front and back of the postcard. One extra slot is reserved for Vegas Neighborhood Mail and is never sold. Each placement is exclusive to one service category, so a competitor in your category cannot appear on the same card.

Before you pay, know this

Mailing is scheduled after 12 advertising placements are fully paid. No mailing date is scheduled while the campaign is pending. Once 12 placements are paid and all required final proofs are approved, we normally target printer or mail-processor submission within about 15 business days. This is a target, not a guarantee, because printer, mail-house, weather, USPS, or other outside delays can occur.

How the cost compares to a coupon envelope

Valpak-style programs do not publish rates; a local franchise quotes you based on insert size, ZIP-code count and how many drops you commit to. That makes a like-for-like price hard to state honestly, so here is the structural comparison instead — the part that decides what you actually pay over a year.

Pricing questions

How much does direct mail advertising cost in Las Vegas?

On the Vegas Neighborhood Mail shared 9×12 postcard, a placement costs $299 for a small spot, $499 for a standard spot and $799 for a large spot. Each price is all-in for one campaign mailed to 5,000 homes, and includes design, printing and USPS delivery. That works out to roughly $0.06 to $0.16 per household reached.

Is there a setup fee, contract or monthly retainer?

No. You pay once for the placement in a single campaign. There is no setup fee, no contract and no obligation to buy a future mailing. Design and two rounds of revisions are included in the placement price.

What is the cost per household?

Divide the placement price by the 5,000 homes in the mailing. A small spot is about $0.06 per household ($59.80 CPM), a standard spot about $0.10 ($99.80 CPM) and a large spot about $0.16 ($159.80 CPM).

How does this compare to Valpak or other coupon envelopes?

Valpak and similar coupon-envelope programs quote pricing through a local franchise, so the rate depends on insert size, how many ZIP codes you buy and how many drops you commit to. Our rates are published, cover a single mailing, and put your ad on the outside of the piece rather than on an insert inside a sealed envelope.

When is my payment charged and when does the postcard mail?

Mailing is scheduled after 12 advertising placements are fully paid. No mailing date is scheduled while the campaign is pending. If 12 paid placements are not reached within 60 calendar days after your payment, you choose a full refund, a transfer to the next eligible campaign, or a written 30- or 60-day extension.

What are the postcard specifications?

The mailer is a 9" × 12" full-color postcard printed on heavy gloss stock, with 16 sellable advertiser placements across the front and back plus a USPS addressing panel. Artwork is produced at 300 DPI with a 0.125" bleed.
