Campaign Terms

Last updated: July 30, 2026

These terms explain how a Vegas Neighborhood Mail campaign is reserved, confirmed, and launched. They are written in plain language so every advertiser understands exactly what they are agreeing to.

1. How specialties are reserved

  • What "category-exclusive" means. We grant exclusivity at the specific-service level, not the broad category. For example, "Home Services" can include one HVAC company, one roofing company, and one garage-door company on the same mailer because they don't compete with each other. What we will not do is put two businesses that offer the same core service (two HVAC companies, two roofers, two dentists, two real-estate agents, and so on) on the same mailer. If your service overlaps with an existing advertiser, we'll tell you before you pay and either adjust the specialty definition in writing or decline the reservation.
  • Specialty reservations are handled on a first-approved, first-paid basis. Being first to submit a request does not, by itself, reserve a specialty.
  • Submitting a request does not reserve a specialty. A request tells us you're interested and lets our team review your exact service to make sure we can offer you specialty exclusivity on the campaign.
  • Payment reserves the approved specialty. Once we approve your request and you complete payment for your placement, your specialty is reserved on that campaign, no direct competitor can be added to the same mailer.

2. Campaign Pending Until 12 Placements Are Paid

This campaign is confirmed once 12 advertising placements on the postcard are fully paid. Only sellable advertiser placements count; the Vegas Neighborhood Mail house slot never counts toward the 12. No mailing date or delivery date is promised before 12 placements are paid.

Payment reserves your approved business category for this pending campaign, but it does not guarantee a mailing date. Once 12 placements are paid and every required final proof is approved, the campaign is production ready and we normally target submitting the postcard to our printer or mail processor within about 15 business days. That target is not guaranteed, because printer, mail-house, weather, USPS, or other outside delays can move it.

If 12 paid placements have not been reached by 60 calendar days after your payment, you choose what happens next: a full refund, a full transfer to the next eligible campaign, or a 30- or 60-day extension that you approve in writing. We never extend automatically or indefinitely, and silence is never treated as consent. While the campaign is pending we send you progress updates roughly every 30 days.

Campaign Confirmed. Campaign Confirmed means Vegas Neighborhood Mail has notified participating advertisers that 12 advertising placements are fully paid and the campaign is proceeding to artwork completion and production scheduling.

Policy version 2026-07-30.2. This campaign has 16 total sellable advertising spots. The campaign is confirmed when 12 of them are fully paid. The Vegas Neighborhood Mail house slot is not sold and never counts toward that number.

3. Refunds, transfers, and your 60-day decision date

Once 12 placements are paid and all required final proofs are approved, we normally target printer or mail-processor submission within about 15 business days. This is a target, not a guarantee, because printer, mail-house, weather, USPS, or other outside delays can occur.

Before Vegas Neighborhood Mail sends the Campaign Confirmed notice, you may choose either option below at any time, for any reason:

  • Transfer to a future campaign. We move your payment to the next available Vegas Neighborhood Mail campaign that fits your category and service area.
  • Receive a full refund. We return the full amount you paid for the reserved placement.

This pending-campaign right is separate from advertiser-requested cancellations after the campaign is confirmed and production has begun, which are covered in section 6.

Your outside decision date. 60 calendar days after your successful payment, if 12 placements are still not fully paid, you choose one of the following. We will show your exact decision date in your payment confirmation and in our updates.

  • Full refund. We return the full amount you paid for the reserved placement.
  • Full transfer. We move your full payment to the next eligible Vegas Neighborhood Mail campaign.
  • Approve a 30- or 60-day extension. You approve in writing that we keep your reservation open for another 30 or 60 days. We never extend without that written approval.

We never extend a reservation automatically or indefinitely, and silence is never treated as consent. While the campaign is pending, we send progress updates about every 30 days using the email address on your reservation.

4. Artwork and advertiser-information deadlines

Even after the campaign is confirmed, artwork and advertiser-information deadlines still apply. Missing a deadline can move you to a later campaign so the current mailer can be produced on time. Deadlines are stated in writing in your quote and confirmation.

5. Nothing prints until you approve the final proof

Nothing is printed until you approve the final proof of your advertisement. You'll receive a proof to review and approve, printing and mailing only begin after your written approval.

6. Advertiser cancellation is separate

Advertiser cancellation rules, for example, if you decide to cancel a paid placement for your own reasons after the campaign is confirmed and production has begun, are covered separately in your written quote and are not the same as the pending-campaign refund and transfer rights in section 3. Those rights apply only before the Campaign Confirmed notice is sent.

7. No performance guarantees

Vegas Neighborhood Mail does not guarantee campaign results, lead volume, calls, customers, sales, or return on investment. We describe the format, distribution, and category exclusivity honestly and let your offer do the work.

8. Questions

If any part of these terms is unclear, ask us before you pay. We'd rather explain something twice than have you agree to something you're unsure about.
